Brenda Louise Moore's Obituary
Brenda L. Moore affectionately known as “CC Chocolate Chip” was born to the late Elmore & Virgie Moore on February 13th 1959. Brenda was born in Dillion, SC and later moved to Washington DC at an early age where she attended DC public schools. Brenda found Christ at Kelsey Temple Church of God. Brenda loved the Lord her favorite line was “BUT GOD”!!
Brenda worked for Robert & Son’s Dry Cleaner & Washington National Airport for several years. Brenda was very family oriented she has opened her doors to so many people and would give you her coat off her back! Brenda Loved to dance and sing Oldies but Goodies she won many trophies in dance competitions doing the “Bump”. Her children was always proud of her making it through tough times and making it look easy. Brenda was loving, caring and peaceful person she was a peace
maker for sure!
On June 30th, 2023 with her sister Linda sitting by her side, Brenda transitioned into the “Pearly Heavenly Gates" peacefully at her daughter's residence.
Brenda is preceded in death by both parents Elmore & Virgie Moore, 3 brothers Elmore Moore Jr. John Wayne Moore & Levon Moore and 1 Nephew Gregory Moore. Brenda Leaves to cherish her memories her husband Ricky Burns 4 lovely daughters Jennifer Wood (Rah), Beverly Moore, Rickenda & Michelle Burns 1 spoiled son James Robinson Jr. 19 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 3 sisters Ella Crews, Betty Shorter (Jamel) and Marcella McCree (Raleigh) and 1 brother James Edward Moore (Gladys). A special brother Terry Hawkins (Money Mike) & A host of Nieces, Nephews special sisters & brother daughters & sons who she holds close & dear to her heart.
