David Lee Womack's Obituary
David Lee Womack was born January 29, 1947 in Halifax County, Virginia to the late Jack Womack and Edna Barksdale Womack. However on February 12, 2025 God in his infinite wisdom called his son, our Father, Grandfather, Uncle, friend home and he peacefully departed this life.
David received his formal education in the Halifax County Public School system. He later relocated to Washington, D.C. where he became "the best" Crane Operator at Clark Construction Company. He was very proud of his work and that he had the opportunity to help construct many monumental buildings such as the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority and numerous colleges in the Washington, D.C. area.
David was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan but what he loved more was family. You were always welcomed in his home and could count on a good time.
