Ernest Russell Moyer's Obituary
Ernest “Ernie” Russell Moyer, Jr. of Capitol Heights, MD passed away on 5/11/2025. He’s the son of Ernest Moyer, Sr. and Doris (Shaner) Moyer, formerly of Allentown, PA. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings James Moyer and Dolores (Moyer) Valinski. He is survived by his partner of 21 years Lester Jao Lacorte, Capitol Heights, MD; siblings, Carl Moyer, Mebane, NC and Anna Louise Wilkerson, Bradenton, FL, and children, Yvonne Bachert, Northampton, PA; and Jeffrey Moyer, Carlisle, MA.
Celebration of life services will be held 12 noon on 5/24/2025 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 1185 Summer Hill Rd., Auburn, PA. Family and friends are welcome to attend the viewing at 12 noon followed by service and internment at Summer Hill Cemetery.
