Estelle Marie Jordan's Obituary
On February 23, 2025, Estelle Jordan peacefully made her transition to her heavenly home. She had a beautiful soul that everyone in her presence enjoyed and loved.
Estelle was one of nine children born to Dorothy and Lawrence Thomas. She is survived by four siblings, sisters Barbara Coles and Darlene Utendahl; and brothers Nathaniel and Andre Thomas. She is also survived by her long time partner Walter “Peter” Smith and countless nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by four siblings, Charles Thomas, Lawrence Thomas jr, Dorethea Thomas and Frankie Thomas. She was also preceded in death by her former husband Harold Jordan.
Estelle was born April 13, 1951 in Washington, D.C. She attended Jefferson Jr High School and went to night school at Spingarn High School. At a young age, Estelle worked as a Nurse’s Tech. She loved helping others in any way she could. Estelle, who we affectionately called “BeeBop”, loved her life. She loved to write poems and she loved to cook. She also loved to play games, dance, play with her dog and have fun fellowshipping with friends.
