JuDawn Kyle's Obituary
On October 25, 2025, JuDawn Malet Kyle peacefully transitioned from labor to reward, departing this earthly life, surrounded by her loving family and friends at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, Maryland.
JuDawn was born at Columbia Hospital for Women in Washington, D.C., on October 9, 1967, to John & Vickie (Jackson) Kyle. She held the precious spot as the eldest grandchild for both of her grandparents, the late Bishop Walter & Roxieanna Jackson, and the late Reverend Robert & Florence Kyle.
Although raised in Laurel, MD JuDawn called Winston-Salem, N.C. & Glasgow, V.A. home. With a Godly upbringing, JuDawn accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior at an early age. She grew up to be a woman of deep faith, living her life with gratitude, compassion, and a spirit of service.
As a 1985 graduate of Laurel High School, she was always eager to learn and grow. She continued her education through college courses in Business Management.
With a spirit of excellence, integrity, and purpose, JuDawn went on to build a distinguished 38-year career in the Federal Government. Within those years, she served in several agencies, including the U.S. Secret Service, Department of the Treasury, Transportation Security Administration, and U.S. Customs and Border Protection. As a member of the Apostle Church of Christ in God (ACCG) Core Planning Committee, she served as the Housing Coordinator. In addition to working as a civil servant and in the church, she also gave back to the community she loved as the secretary of the Smiling Eyes Foundation, Incorporated.
With a servant’s heart, she found joy in quietly meeting the needs of those around her without the need for recognition. Her kindness touched countless lives with generosity and grace that will continue to inspire all who knew her. Outside of work and service, JuDawn found joy in life’s simple but meaningful pleasures.
