Sending my heartfelt condolences to the family of Lucious (Tony) Dixon. Our families grew up together on T Place, S.E. in Washington, DC. My fondest memory was our mothers going to play Bingo together at church. Tony was and will always be remembered as a kind and caring person. May you all be surrounded by God’s peace and comfort during this difficult time. Rest well, Tony.
Cuz…Lil Tony, I am heartbroken to learn of your passing! I have so many memories of gathering as a family at your great Aunt Audrey’s, my grandmother. I remember the laughter, good food and listening to the old folks in the family tell us how it used to be. I remember you and Sean, my brother, supervising and telling me what to do! lol. I remember getting excited when you, your mom, who I absolutely adored and Big Tony walked through the door to gather at many family functions! I remember when you retired and moved to Florida and how I was so proud you to live your best life stress free! I remember and will cherish our last text messages, Me: “All is well over here, love you cuz, You: “Love you too cuz! Let me know when you are in Orlando”! Cuzzo REST EASY! It was very shocking and sorrowful to hear of Tony’s sudden passing. He loved traveling with his wife Toni, visiting with their many friends around the country. Tony will definitely be missed by all that knew and loved him, especially by his wife Tony; they were inseparable. How much can a heart take Lord. Even though we cannot fathom this loss, we trust in God the Father. The news of your passing is absolutely devastating. I will forever cherish the memories of our childhood in D.C., where our families shared countless moments as us growing up together. You were my first friend, and my brother’s best friend, a bond that time and distance could never diminish.
We had the best laughs together, reminiscing and even creating new memories. Your absence leaves a void that cannot be filled.
