Willie Young was always there when you needed him, helping out with many activities in the Laboratory of Pathology. He was the type of team player than is essential in a big organization. He always greeted me with "Hello Doc" and helped make you day a little easier. Elaine Jaffe

Willie had a penchant to make everyone's day brighter. We've lost a good one, and I am sure God will enjoy his company as much as we did.
Mr Willie was a dear friend and surrogate dad to me. He always checked up on me and my daughter that he wanted to remain a baby even though she is 25 years old. We had the pleasure of performing together at quite a few gospel programs. The best thing about Mr Willie was his positive attitude and infectious smile. I will forever miss and love him.
